Many people reach retirement age with decades of experience and a desire to stay engaged. Yet traditional retirement often assumes stepping away from meaningful work and contribution. Increasingly, people want this phase of life to be purposeful, with opportunities to stay engaged, contribute, and grow—but aren’t always sure how to make this happen.
This program invites participants to think intentionally about how they want to shape the next phase of life.
It is facilitated by the co-founders of The Future of You and guided by their Future in Four™ framework, a structured life design approach that helps participants reflect on their skills, interests, and life priorities while exploring new ways to apply their experience through meaningful work, community engagement, or new career paths.
Through facilitated discussions, reflective exercises, and shared learning with peers, participants will:
  • Reflect on how their experience, skills, and interests can shape their next chapter
  • Reconsider how work, learning, contribution, and personal life fit together in this phase
  • Explore new possibilities for engagement, growth, and impact
  • Create small experiments to explore new directions
  • Develop a clear vision for a purposeful and rewarding next chapter.
Delivered over six 90-minute sessions, the program provides structure and community as participants explore possibilities and gain clarity on how they want to live across five key life sectors. It encourages participants to see retirement not as an endpoint, but as a transition that opens new opportunities for learning, contribution, and personal growth.
