Youth Care Worker Essentials: Trauma Informed Behavioral Health

Designed for current and aspiring Youth Care Workers, this course provides foundational training in trauma-informed care, crisis prevention and intervention, and ethical practice within youth-serving environments. Learners will learn to establish and maintain healthy boundaries, understand mandatory reporting laws, and respond empathetically to youth in residential and community programs. Emphasis is placed on developing workplace skills essential for youth care settings, including clear verbal and written communication, teamwork, and CPR certification.
