Develop foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to address and affect oral health and wellness in a community. Covers community diagnostics, including evaluating a community meeting, networking, and resource mapping. Review the keys of communication, cultural competence, motivational interviewing, human behaviors, and dental health concepts emphasizing oral health. Patient assessment, feedback, education, and behavior change interventions for dental patients also covered.
