NMPED is making this course available to all public K-12 New Mexico educators. Only public K-12 New Mexico educators are eligible to register for this free course

K-12 schools across New Mexico are incorporating virtual learning into their curriculum. Educators need to be able to make virtual learning accessible for all students, and to learn additional strategies for increasing student engagement in virtual learning environment. Designed specifically for K-12 educators by CNM's Education Department, this workshop will do just that. 
  • Creating equitable virtual/online practices
    • Leveraging the virtual learning environment to support differentiated instruction
    • Strategies for increasing student engagement in a virtual learning environment 
  • Communicating with students
  • Tools for online engagement (making videos, using Flipgrid and more)
  • Structuring Collaborative Learning Virtually
  • Facilitated application work in small groups
