Designed for those will little to no experience, this class will you help you get familiar with your home's electrical systems, helping you decide when you can work on something yourself and when you should call a licensed electrician. The instructor will introduce basic electrical concepts, safety, codes, and maintenance. They will discuss choosing the proper size extension cords, inspecting cords for wear, testing GFCI and AFCIs, and resetting tripped breaker switches. The class is comprised of about 2.5 hours of self-paced content, plus a  1.5 hour live session, including time for questions.
