To anticipate cost overruns and maneuver budget constraints, the Production Accountant must understand all aspects of film production. Participants will gain an understanding in the key areas of bookkeeping, reporting, and auditing to ensure the shoot schedule comes in on the correct dollar amount, watch over the funds, and keep every department honest and on track.
- Must be NM resident
- Must have prior accounting/finance experience such as having worked as a CPA, bookkeeper, payroll clerk, etc.
- Must have previous accounting education from an accredited college or university with a minimum of an associates degree.
